IT BEGAN WITH A BRUSHSTROKE
The design philosophy of the New Mazda CX-30 is called “charge and release.” Imagine a single stroke of ink that starts from above the front tires, flows toward the back and release its energy. The result is a form that energizes the driver, even before they get behind the wheel.

SAFETY (i-ACTIVSENSE)
SMART CITY BRAKE SUPPORT [FORWARD] (SCBS F)
SCBSF monitors the vehicle in front to assess the likelihood of a collision with a high performance front camera sensor when driving at speeds between approximately 4 and 30 km/h.
If there is a high risk, the system will warn you and brake automatically if needed.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM (LDWS)
LDWS employs a forward-sensing camera to monitor lane markings on the road ahead, constantly checking whether the vehicle is correctly centred in the lane. When unintentional lane departure is detected, LDWS warns the driver by vibrating the steering wheel or sounding an alert.
The system operates when the car is moving forwards at speeds higher than approximately 60km/h.
CRUISING & TRAFFIC SUPPORT (CTS)
CTS help reduce driver fatigue when in traffic jams on the highway. When engaged, CTS automatically controls vehicle speed to keep a suitable distance from the vehicle ahead, and also assists with steering torque to maintain proper lane position through bends.
If lane markings are not detected, the system follows the path of the preceding vehicle. In this way, CTS
promotes a safe, comfortable driving experience.
MAZDA RADAR CRUISE CONTROL (MRCC)
Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) uses a millimeter wave radar to judge the relative speed and distance to the car ahead and automatically controls vehicle speed.
Working within a set speed range, MRCC automatically adjusts and maintains a safe following distance from the car in front, thus relieving some of the burden of the driver on long drives and on highways.
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT (RCTA)
Rear Cross Trac Alert (RCTA) uses radars to monitor the car ahead and automatically adjusts your speed to maintain a safe distance.
RCTA helps you safely reverse out of any parking
space by scanning your environment and alerting you to cars approaching from either side of your vehicle.
LANE-KEEP ASSIST SYSTEM (LAS)
This system works in conjunction with the LDWS feature which will assist the driver by controlling the steering automatically to stay on track if vehicle is detected to be out of line with a windshield-mounted camera to recognize lane-markings on the
road. LAS activates at speeds above 60 km/h.
Notes: i-Activsense safety features are not a substitute for safe and attentive driving. There are limitations to the range and detection of the systems. Availability of safety equipment/features varies according to country and model grade. Please consult your local Mazda dealer for exact information.
